A carpenter by trade, Nolan Nicholas established Nolan uPVC Limited with the aim of creating a service-focused business that didn’t fit the stereotypical image of double glazing firms.
The company has grown and developed, but the principle remains the same: “To deliver the highest quality in everything we do, from manufacturing to installation to after-sales care.â€
As the company celebrates its twentieth anniversary, it is a commitment to this original ethos that has led to today’s position as one of the largest independently owned uPVC and aluminium companies in Wales, with an annual turnover in excess of £4.5m.
With its headquarters and manufacturing in Johnstown Carmarthen and a newly relocated showroom on North Road Cardiff, Nolan uPVC now employs a total of 55 staff across the two sites.
From the manufacture and installation of basic uPVC products such as windows and doors, the company has grown through investment in its people, processes and products to offer a complex suite of uPVC and aluminium products such as conservatories, orangeries, vertical sliding sash windows, bi-folding doors and curtain walling.
