When it comes to making home improvements, good communication is vital.
If you tell people what you are going to do, when you are going to do it and at what cost, they'll be happy, so here is what will happen when you contact Nolan about your home improvements.
You have the option of receiving information electronically or through the post and/or arranging a convenient time and date for a Nolan design consultant to visit your home. Your appointment will be confirmed by email or by letter depending on your preference and sent with any relevant product literature. You can also visit our comprehensive showrooms in Carmarthen or Cardiff.
Once at your home, our design consultant will discuss your requirements, answer any questions and suggest the most appropriate products. They will take approximate measurements and in most cases be able to provide a quotation for you during the appointment. If this is not possible then a quotation will be sent to you by email or in the post, again depending on your preference.
If you are happy with the quotation, you will be sent a contract by email or in the post (depending on your preference) for you to sign and return to us. You will be contacted within 5-7 days of your order with a date for our surveyor to visit your property to carry out an accurate survey and answer any further questions you may have.
Following our survey, you will be contacted by phone with a proposed installation date, which if not convenient can be re-scheduled. Once the date has been booked this will be confirmed in writing to you. Installation is usually within a six to eight-week period allowing us ample time for design and manufacture.
All our installation teams are trained craftsmen with many years’ experience of working in people's homes. Final checks are carried out to ensure a smooth installation and once in your property they will endeavour to keep any disruption to a minimum and protect any furniture within the immediate area of the installation. All items removed from your property, if no longer required, will be taken to our recycling area. Throughout installation, a supervisor will check the work is being carried out to Nolan's exacting standards.
On completion of the works, an invoice will be presented along with a customer feedback questionnaire. Payment (cash or cheques) can be made to a senior Nolan installer prior to him leaving your property, or it can be made at one of our showrooms. Should you wish to pay by debit or credit card, this can be carried out over the phone or by calling in to see us. For payment by BACS or bank transfer, account details are included on your invoice.
Note: As conservatory installations are more complex, requiring more trades from start to finish, you can expect to receive an outline itinerary of works that usually spans a six to eight week period. From the installation start date, you will be assigned a senior supervisor and will be able to contact him on his mobile number at all times with any enquiries or concerns.
