It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our much-loved colleague and friend, Nigel Thomas. Nigel was not just a member of the Nolan uPVC team; for over 30 years, he was part of the very fabric of our company.
From the early days through decades of growth and change, Nigel stood alongside us with unwavering loyalty. His commitment to Nolan uPVC was evident in everything he did, and his contribution over more than three decades helped shape the business into what it is today. He was someone you could always rely on, someone who cared deeply about his work and, more importantly, about the people around him.
Nigel had a unique presence. He brought warmth, humour, and energy into every room he walked into. There was truly never a dull moment when Nigel was around. His quick wit and well-timed jokes could lift spirits even on the busiest or most challenging days. Laughter followed him wherever he went, and it became one of the many things he was known and loved for throughout the company.
But beyond the humour, Nigel was a genuinely kind and caring person. He took time for people, offered support when it was needed, and built friendships that went far beyond the workplace. To many of us, he was not just a colleague but a trusted friend. New starters were made to feel welcome, long-standing team members valued his advice, and everyone felt the positive impact of his character.
The memories Nigel created with us will remain forever. The shared stories, the laughter on site and in the office, and the friendships he built over the years are moments we will always cherish. His presence will be deeply missed, and the space he leaves behind cannot be filled.
At this incredibly difficult time, our thoughts are with his wife Ann, his family, and his friends. We extend our heartfelt condolences to all those who loved him and are feeling this loss so deeply.
Nigel may no longer be with us, but he will always be part of the Nolan uPVC family. His legacy lives on in the people he worked with, the relationships he built, and the countless memories we will continue to share and remember with fondness.
Rest in peace, Nigel. You will never be forgotten.
